Fashion Show Continued

Sewing for Hawaii and the Miss Miss Fashion Show

I have been busy sewing up some fun summery dresses and tops for Miss Miss and her cousin for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. She was so kind to model a few of the numbers (not willingly, I had to convince her to do this by taking a picture and then letting her have the camera and then she would tell me "cheese, mama"). And then we would change outfits and repeat.

A Sewing Storm

I haven't posted in a while and I have been sewing like crazy! I have finished a few purses that have already made their way to their owners, a couple of baby gifts including a swaddler and appliqued onsie, a couple of custom kids aprons, a dozen or so dresses and tops for wee ones, a quilt for Miss Miss, a quilt for myself, a top for myself and a tunic. Whew!

A Book Sling

I saw the greatest idea about 6 months back on a local mama's blog Penny Carnival about a book sling that she makes and sells on her Etsy shop. Well, just recently she posted a tutorial for us do-it-yourselfers and this is the result.
